Possibly photo of a tower outing taken outside Milthorpe

There is an account of a tower outing on Easter Monday 1914 to Heversham, Milnthorpe, Beetham and Burton (p112 of belfry records):

"The Ringers and Ladies walked through a delightful district to Milnthorpe"

Winston Churchill ordered the ringinging of Church Bells to celebrate a turning point in the war against the axis forces at El Alamein.
